Carol Matheys Center for Children & Families Inc. has provided quality, affordable experiences for children and their families in the communities of Oakdale and surrounding suburbs for 35 years.  The Center is dedicated to serving the community, helping children develop as individuals and serving all children.  The center offers infant through school-aged care for up to 103 children at two sites.  Read more about this success story.

The Agape I & II 24-hour Child Development Centers provide high quality, 24-hour childcare for infants to school-agers (up to age 12) in two facilities, serving north, near north Minneapolis and surrounding areas. Core services include: a structured, multi-cultural curriculum including violence prevention and youth leadership training, drop-in care, transportation service, school readiness, school advocacy, designated settings for special needs children, and summer camp. Agape families also have unlimited access to Oasis of Love, Inc. Crisis Intervention Center wraparound services such as: crisis intervention, food shelf, Toys for Tots, violence prevention, court advocacy and legal assistance.

Bright Water Montessori School, operating in the Camden neighborhood of north Minneapolis since 2004, provides an authentic Montessori education for up to 54 low- and moderate incomes students, ages 16 months through six years.  Bright Water’s mission celebrates diversity, respect and passion for learning in an environment that nurtures and prepares the whole child for life.

Loring Nicollet-Bethlehem Early Learning Center (ELC) is an accredited, full day, year-round pre-school licensed to serve 27 children (ages 2 years 9 months to five years) in the Whittier neighborhood of central Minneapolis.  The ELC, designated as a Strong Beginnings site by Hennepin County, supports children and parents in preparing for kindergarten while instilling a love for exploration and learning.
